เมื่อวันที่ 29 กันยายน 2569 นางเอกสิริ ปิณฑะรุจิ ปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ พบหารือกับนายดอมินิก พอร์เตอร์ ตำแหน่ง Deputy Managing Director of Asia and the Pacific
กระทรวงการต่างประเทศสหภาพยุโรป ณ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ โดยมีโดยมีนางลุยซา ราแกร์ เอกอัครราชทูตสหภาพยุโรปประจำประเทศไทย และคณะ และอธิบดีกรมยุโรปเข้าร่วม

ทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นว่าความร่วมมือทวิภาคีระหว่างไทยกับสหภาพยุโรปมีพลวัตสูงและต้องการต่อยอดให้มีผลเป็นรูปธรรมในทุก ๆ ด้าน โดยเฉพาะด้านความมั่นคงและการป้องกันประเทศ
และการเจรจาความตกลงการค้าเสรีไทย-สหภาพยุโรป นอกจากนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายยืนยันเจตนารมณ์ที่จะร่วมมือกันเสริมสร้างระเบียบระหว่างประเทศที่ตั้งอยู่บนกติกา (rules-based international order)
และระบบพหุภาคีนิยม นอกจากนี้ได้แลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับประเด็นความขัดแย้งระหว่างไทยกับกัมพูชาด้วย

Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs Meets with Deputy Managing Director for Asia and the Pacific of the European External Action Service.

On 29 September 2026, Ms. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, met with Mr. Dominic Porter, Deputy Managing Director for Asia and the Pacific of the European External Action Service (EEAS), at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. H.E. Ms. Luisa Ragher, Ambassador of the European Union to Thailand, and her delegation, as well as the Director-General of the Department of European Affairs also attended.

Both sides viewed bilateral cooperation between Thailand and the European Union as highly dynamic and sought to achieve tangible outcomes across various areas, particularly security and defence cooperation and the negotiations on the Thailand–EU FTA. They reaffirmed their commitment to working together to strengthen the rules-based international order and multilateralism. They also exchanged views on issues related to Cambodia.
