นายรัศม์ ชาลีจันทร์ ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ร่วมกล่าวเปิดงานวันยุโรป ประจำปี 2568

เมื่อวันที่ 22 พฤษภาคม 2568 นายรัศม์ ชาลีจันทร์ ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้รับเชิญเป็นแขกเกียรติยศและร่วมกล่าวเปิดงานเลี้ยงรับรองเนื่องในโอกาสวันยุโรปประจำปี 2568 (Europe Day 2025) จัดโดยคณะผู้แทนสหภาพยุโรปประจำประเทศไทย

ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีฯ กล่าวถึงการเฉลิมฉลองการครบรอบ 75 ปี ของการจัดทำ "ปฏิญญาชูมันน์" ซึ่งเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของสหภาพยุโรป และความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างไทยและสหภาพยุโรปซึ่งยาวนานกว่า 63 ปี และกำลังมีพลวัตที่ดีโดยเฉพาะภายหลังการมีผลบังคับใช้ไปพลางก่อนของกรอบความตกลงว่าด้วยความเป็นหุ้นส่วนและความร่วมมือรอบด้านไทย-สหภาพยุโรปและรัฐสมาชิก และอยู่ระหว่างการเจรจาความตกลงการค้าเสรี FTA ไทย–สหภาพยุโรป ซึ่งจะยกระดับความสัมพันธ์และความร่วมมือของทั้งสองฝ่ายภายใต้ความท้าทายทางภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ในปัจจุบัน

วันยุโรปตรงกับวันที่ 9 พฤษภาคมของทุกปี โดยสำหรับปี 2568 คณะผู้แทนสหภาพยุโรปประจำประเทศไทยจัดงานภายใต้หัวข้อ “Celebrating Europe: Trade and Tradition” ซึ่งให้ความสำคัญกับสิ่งบ่งชี้ทางภูมิศาสตร์ (Geographical Indicators : GI) ของไทยและสหภาพยุโรป ที่คุ้มครองผลิตภัณฑ์และภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น

Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs delivered remarks on Europe Day 2025

On 22 May 2025, H.E. Mr. Russ Jalichandra, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, was invited as the Guest of Honour to give remarks at Europe Day 2025 reception held by the Delegation of the European Union to Thailand.

The Vice Minister celebrated 75 years of the Schuman Declaration and the 63 years of Thailand-EU diplomatic relations which is increasingly dynamic with the provisional application of the Thailand-EU Comprehensive Partnership and Cooperation Agreement and the ongoing Thailand–EU Free Trade Agreement negotiations. The strengthening of partnership between Thailand and the EU helps both sides navigate through the current geopolitical challenges.

Europe Day falls on 9 May of each year, for Europe Day 2025 the Delegation of the European Union to Thailand organized the reception under the theme “Celebrating Europe: Trade and Tradition”, highlighting the EU’s Geographical Indicator (GI) products which protects heritage and tradition.
