การประชุมเสวนา Best Practices from the V4 Countries for a More Sustainable Future

เมื่อวันที่ ๗ เมษายน ๒๕๖๕ นางสาวสมฤดี พู่พรอเนก รองอธิบดีกรมยุโรป และนายชานโดร์ ชีโปชเอกอัครราชทูตฮังการีประจำประเทศไทย กล่าวเปิดการประชุมเสวนา “Best Practices from the V4 Countries for a More Sustainable Future” ณ เดอะกลาสเฮ้าส์ โรงแรมปาร์คนายเลิศ กรุงเทพฯ การเสวนาดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นโดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฮังการีประจำประเทศไทย ร่วมกับสถานเอกอัครราชทูตกลุ่มประเทศ Visegrád Four หรือ V4 (สาธารณรัฐเช็ก สาธารณรัฐโปแลนด์ และสาธารณรัฐสโลวัก) ประจำประเทศไทย ในโอกาสที่ฮังการีดำรงตำแหน่งประธานกลุ่มประเทศ V4 เพื่อเป็นเวทีในการหารือและนำเสนอองค์ความรู้จากกลุ่มประเทศ V4 ที่สอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนในกรอบสหประชาชาติ อาทิ การบริหารจัดการน้ำอย่างยั่งยืน เศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน นโยบายและการลดคาร์บอนในเมือง

รองอธิบดีกรมยุโรป เน้นย้ำความสำคัญของโมเดลเศรษฐกิจชีวภาพ เศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน และเศรษฐกิจสีเขียว Bio-Circular-Green Economy หรือ “BCG” Model เพื่อเป็นแนวทางการพัฒนาหลังโควิด-๑๙ ที่นำไปสู่การเจริญเติบโตอย่างสมดุล โดยการใช้ประโยชน์จากวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรม (STI) เพื่อยกระดับอุตสาหกรรม เพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการผลิต และลดผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมตลอดห่วงโซ่อุปทาน นอกจากนี้ ยังเน้นย้ำถึงประเด็นที่ประเทศไทยให้ความสำคัญในฐานะประธานเอเปคในปีนี้ ซึ่งไทยจะยังคงสนับสนุนวาระการเปลี่ยนผ่านไปสู่เศรษฐกิจสีเขียวและเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนผ่าน BCG Model และขับเคลื่อนเอเปคไปสู่โลกที่เปิดกว้าง สมดุล และเชื่อมโยงกันมากขึ้นหลังโควิด-๑๙

Best Practices from the V4 Countries for a More Sustainable Future

On April 7, 2022, Ms. Somrudee Poopornanake, Deputy Director-General of the Department of European Affairs and H.E. Dr. Sándor Sipos, Ambassador of Hungary to Thailand gave opening remarks at the seminar “Best Practices from the V4 Countries for a More Sustainable Future,” at the Glass House, Nai Lert Park Hotel. The seminar was organized by the Embassy of Hungary in Bangkok, together with the Embassies of the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia, to provide a platform for sharing of best practices from the V4 countries on issues related to United Nations Sustainable Development Goals such as sustainable water management, circular economy and decarbonisation of cities.

Deputy Director-General Somrudee stressed the importance of the Bio-Circular-Green Economy or “BCG” Model, as the post-COVID-19 pathway towards a more balanced growth through the utilization of the Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) to uplift industries, increase productivity and reduce environmental impacts throughout supply chain. She also highlighted the priorities of Thailand as APEC Chair this year in which Thailand will continue to support green transition agenda and sustainable development goal through BCG model and drive APEC towards a more open, balanced and connected world in the post COVID-19.
