การลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจ (MOU) เกี่ยวกับการจัดตั้งกลไกการหารือทวิภาคีระหว่างกระทรวงการต่างประเทศของไทยและกระทรวงการต่างประเทศสาธารณรัฐเฮลเลนิก ในวันที่ 27 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568

ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือเกี่ยวกับแนวทางในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทวิภาคีในหลายด้าน เช่น การส่งเสริม
การท่องเที่ยว การปกป้องพลเมืองจากภัยพิบัติ รวมไปถึงการจัดการประชุมกลไกการหารือว่าด้วยความร่วมมือทวิภาคีไทย-กรีซ ครั้งที่ 1 โดยอธิบดีกรมยุโรปได้แสดงความยินดีต่อการที่สาธารณรัฐเฮลเลนิกมีประธานาธิบดีคนใหม่ และแสดงความห่วงใยต่อสถานการณ์แผ่นดินไหวที่เกิดขึ้น

การลงนาม MOU ฉบับนี้จะเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างไทยกับสาธารณรัฐเฮเลนิก
ให้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้นในอนาคต

 Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to the Kingdom of Thailand paid a courtesy call on the Director-General of the Department of European Affairs

On 21 February 2025, H.E. Mr. Foivos Georgios Angeletos, Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to Thailand, paid a courtesy call and held discussions with Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, in preparation for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the establishment of a bilateral consultation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic on 27 February 2025.

During the discussions, both sides explored ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various areas, such as tourism promotion, protection and prevention of natural disasters, and establishment of the first meeting of the Thai-Greece Political Consultation.

The Director-General of the Department of European Affairs extended congratulations to the Hellenic Republic on her new President and offered thoughts and sympathy over the recent earthquake in Greece.

The signing of this MOU is expected to be a significant step in further strengthening the relationship between Thailand and Greece.
