เมื่อวันที่ ๑๖ มีนาคม ๒๕๖๔ นางจุฬามณี ชาติสุวรรณ อธิบดีกรมยุโรป เข้าเฝ้าทูลละอองพระบาทสมเด็จพระกนิษฐาธิราชเจ้า กรมสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดา ฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี ณ วังสระปทุม เพื่อรับพระราชทานประกาศนียบัตรรางวัลชมเชย ประเภทหนังสือสวยงามทั่วไป ในการประกวดหนังสือดีเด่น ประจำปี ๒๕๖๓ ของสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน กระทรวงการศึกษาธิการ จากการจัดทำและตีพิมพ์หนังสือ “๓๓๓ ปี ราชทูตสยามเจริญสัมพันธไมตรีกับฝรั่งเศส” (333 YEARS SIAMESE ENVOY TO FRANCE)

กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้จัดทำและตีพิมพ์หนังสือ “๓๓๓ ปี ราชทูตสยามเจริญสัมพันธไมตรีกับฝรั่งเศส” เมื่อปี ๒๕๖๒ โดยมีรองศาสตราจารย์ ดร. ปรีดี พิศภูมิวิถี เป็นบรรณาธิการ เพื่อเฉลิมฉลองวาระการครบรอบ ๓๓๓ ปี ที่สมเด็จพระนารายณ์มหาราชได้ทรงส่งคณะราชทูตสยาม นำโดยออกพระวิสุทธสุนทร (โกษาปาน) ไปเจริญสัมพันธไมตรีกับฝรั่งเศส คณะราชทูตสยามได้รับการต้อนรับอย่างสมเกียรติ และได้เข้าเฝ้าพระเจ้าหลุยส์ที่ ๑๔ เมื่อวันที่ ๑ กันยายน ๒๒๒๙ ณ ห้องท้องพระโรงกระจก (Galérie des Glaces)

กระทรวงการต่างประเทศได้เผยแพร่หนังสือดังกล่าวให้แก่สถาบันการศึกษาของไทยที่มีภาควิชาภาษาฝรั่งเศสสถาบันการศึกษาของต่างประเทศ ตลอดจนหน่วยงานที่สนใจ

The Director-General of the Department of European Affairs was granted a royal audience with Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn for the award ceremony for the book “333 Years Siamese Envoy to France”

On 16 March 2021, Mrs. Chulamanee Chartsuwan, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, was granted a royal audience with Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at Sra Pathum Palace. She received a distinction certificate and commemorative plaque for the book “333 Years Siamese Envoy to France”, awarded in the category “Illustrated Books” in the annual book competition organised by the Bureau of Academic Affairs and Educational Standards, Office of the Basic Education Commission, Ministry of Education.

The book “333 Years Siamese Envoy to France” was first published in 2019 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with Associate Prof. Dr. Predee Phisphumvidhi as editor. The book aims to commemorate the 333th Anniversary of the dispatch by King Narai the Great of a Siamese diplomatic mission, led by Ok-phra Wisut Sunthon (Kosa Pan), to the court of King Louis XIV. The mission was accorded highest honour and granted an audience with King Louis XIV at the Palace of Versailles on 1 September 1686.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has distributed several copies of this commemorative book to educational institutions in Thailand and abroad as well as to interested organisations.
