เมื่อวันที่ 16 กันยายน 2569 นางสาวสมฤดี พู่พรอเนก อธิบดีกรมยุโรป พบหารือกับนาง Monika Krzewicka อุปทูตรักษาการ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐโปแลนด์ประจำประเทศไทย เพื่อเตรียมการสำหรับการประชุม Thailand-Poland Strategic Dialogue ครั้งที่ 1 ซึ่งจะจัดขึ้นในเดือนมกราคม 2570 ที่กรุงเทพฯ และการเยือนประเทศไทยอย่างเป็นทางการของนายราโดสวาฟ ซีคอร์สกี (Radosław Sikorski) รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศสาธารณรัฐโปแลนด์ ประธานร่วมในการประชุมดังกล่าว ซึ่งช่วยกระชับความสัมพันธ์ของทั้งสองประเทศ และส่งเสริมความร่วมมือที่เป็นรูปธรรมในสาขาที่ทั้งสองประเทศให้ความสำคัญร่วมกัน อาทิ ความร่วมมือด้านการป้องกันประเทศ วิทยาศาสตร์ การวิจัยและนวัตกรรม
รวมถึงการพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์ระหว่างสองประเทศ รวมทั้งจะมีส่วนสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนความเป็นหุ้นส่วนที่ครอบคลุม และมุ่งผลสัมฤทธิ์ระหว่างไทยกับโปแลนด์ต่อไป

On 16 September 2026, Ms. Somrudee Poopornanek, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs met with Mrs. Monika Krzewicka, Chargé d'Affaires, a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland to Thailand, to discuss preparations for the 1^st Thailand-Poland Strategic Dialogue in Bangkok tentatively in January 2027 and the official visit of H.E. Mr. Radosław Sikorski, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, who will serve as co-chair of the Strategic Dialogue.

The Thailand-Poland Strategic Dialogue and the official visit are expected to further strengthen bilateral relations and foster tangible cooperation in key areas of mutual interterst, particularly defence technology, science, research, and innovation (SRI), as well as human resource development, thereby contributing to a comprehensive and results-oriented partnership between Thailand and Poland.
