รักษาการอธิบดีกรมยุโรปพบหารือกับเอกอัครราชทูตสหภาพยุโรปประจำประเทศไทย

เมื่อวันที่ 29 มกราคม 2569 นางสาวสมฤดี พู่พรอเนก รักษาราชการแทนอธิบดีกรมยุโรป ได้พบหารือกับนาง Luisa Ragher เอกอัครราชทูตสหภาพยุโรป (อียู) ประจำประเทศไทย เกี่ยวกับความสัมพันธ์ทวิภาคีและภูมิภาค เพื่อกำหนดแนวทางขับเคลื่อนความสัมพันธ์ทวิภาคีระหว่างไทยและอียูในปี 2569 ให้เกิดผลเป็นรูปธรรมในทุกมิติทั้งความมั่นคง เศรษฐกิจ สิ่งแวดล้อม การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน และความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประชาชน
ในโอกาสนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือเกี่ยวกับโครงการที่ไทยและอียูอยู่ระหว่างการผลักดัน อาทิ การเจรจาเขตการค้าเสรีซึ่งทั้งสองฝ่ายประสงค์ให้บรรลุผลโดยเร็วที่สุด การอำนวยความสะดวกด้านการตรวจลงตราให้แก่ผู้ถือหนังสือเดินทางไทยที่เดินทางบ่อยครั้งและมีประวัติดี (visa cascade) ความร่วมมือด้านการเก็บกู้ทุ่นระเบิดเพื่อมนุษยธรรม ความร่วมมือในการต่อต้านการหลอกลวงทางออนไลน์ การส่งเสริมเชื้อเพลงอากาศยานแบบยั่งยืน โครงการ Global Gateway รวมทั้งความร่วมมือในมิติใหม่ ๆ เช่น ด้านวัฒนธรรมและความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างประชาชน
นอกจากนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายยังได้หารือเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ในภูมิภาค และกิจกรรมที่จะร่วมกันดำเนินการในช่วงครึ่งปีแรกของปี 2569 ด้วย

Acting Director-General for the Department of European Affairs Meets with the Ambassador of the European Union to Thailand

On 29 January 2026, Ms. Somrudee Poopornanake, Acting Director-General for the Department of European Affairs, met with H.E. Ms. Luisa Ragher, Ambassador of the European Union (EU) to Thailand, to review existing bilateral and regional cooperation and to identify priorities for 2026, with a view to achieving tangible and results-oriented outcomes across all areas of cooperation. These include security, economic relations, the environment, sustainable development, and people-to-people ties.
During the meeting, both sides discussed key projects and initiatives of mutual interest between Thailand and the EU. These included efforts to expedite free trade agreement (FTA) negotiations, visa facilitation for frequent travelers under the “visa cascade scheme,” cooperation on humanitarian demining, combating online scams, the promotion of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), and collaboration under the Global Gateway initiative. They also explored new areas of cooperation, particularly in culture and people-to-people exchanges.
The two sides further exchanged views on regional developments and discussed projects planned for implementation during the first half of 2026.
