เมื่อวันที่ 29 มีนาคม 2564 นายโจเซฟ แอนโทนี คอตเตอร์ เอกอัครราชทูตไอร์แลนด์ประจำประเทศไทย ได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะนางจุฬามณี ชาติสุวรรณ อธิบดีกรมยุโรป เนื่องในโอกาสที่อธิบดีกรมยุโรปเข้ารับตำแหน่งใหม่ โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายยินดีกับพัฒนาการความสัมพันธ์ทวิภาคีที่ดีระหว่างไทยกับไอร์แลนด์ โดยเฉพาะความร่วมมือในด้านการศึกษาและการค้าการลงทุน นอกจากนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายแสดงความพร้อมจะจัดการจัดประชุม Political Consultations ระหว่างกันเป็นครั้งแรก เพื่อขยายความร่วมมือในด้านต่าง ๆ ที่มีศักยภาพ รวมทั้งได้หารือเกี่ยวกับโอกาสในการขยายความสัมพันธ์ด้านการท่องเที่ยวและวัฒนธรรมระหว่างไทยและไอร์แลนด์  

Ambassador of Ireland to the Kingdom of Thailand paid a courtesy call on Director-General of the Department of European Affairs

On 29 March 2021, H.E. Mr. Joseph Anthony Cotter, Ambassador of Ireland to the Kingdom of Thailand, paid a courtesy call on Mrs. Chulamanee Chartsuwan, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, on the occasion of the latter’s assumption of duty. Both sides expressed satisfaction with flourishing bilateral relations between Thailand and Ireland in recent years, especially in concrete cooperation in the fields of education, trade and investment. In addition, both sides reaffirmed their readiness to have the first Political Consultations in order to foster collaboration in high potential areas as well as discussed opportunities to expand tourism and cultural ties between the two countries.
