เมื่อวันที่ 17 มีนาคม 2564 นางเอฟเรน ดาเดเลน อักกุน เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐตุรกีประจำประเทศไทย ได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะ นางจุฬามณี ชาติสุวรรณ อธิบดีกรมยุโรป เนื่องในโอกาสที่อธิบดีกรมยุโรปเข้ารับตำแหน่งใหม่โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายยินดีกับความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างไทยกับตุรกี และได้หารือการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือที่เป็นรูปธรรมและเป็นผลประโยชน์ร่วมกัน โดยเฉพาะด้านเศรษฐกิจ เกษตรกรรม วิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรม นอกจากนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายตกลงที่จะร่วมกันหารือจัดลำดับความสำคัญของร่างความตกลงที่คั่งค้างต่างๆ เพื่อให้มีความคืบหน้าในเรื่องนี้ต่อไป   

Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Kingdom of Thailand paid a courtesy call on Director-General of the Department of European Affairs

On 5 March 2021, H.E. Ms. Evren Dağdelen Akgün, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Kingdom of Thailand, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mrs. Chulamanee Chartsuwan, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, on the occasion of the latter’s assumption of duty.  Both sides were satisfied with good relations between Thailand and Turkey and agreed to enhance concrete cooperation in the areas of mutual interest and benefit, especially in the economic sector, agriculture, science, technology and innovation. Moreover, both sides agreed to prioritize pending agreements between the two countries, so that progress is made on this matter.
