เมื่อวันที่ 6-9 กันยายน 2561 กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ร่วมกับสำนักงานส่งเสริมวิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม (สสว.) และสภาธุรกิจไทย-ตุรกี จัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมการค้าการลงทุนไทย-ตุรกี ประกอบด้วย

          (1)  การประชุมสัมมนาในหัวข้อ “3^rd Thai-Turkish SMEs B2B Meeting” & Seminar on “Exploring Business Opportunities between Thailand and Turkey” และการเจรจาสร้างเครือข่ายธุรกิจ (Business Matching) ณ โรงแรมอโนมา แกรนด์ กรุงเทพฯ ในวันที่ 6 กันยายน โดยได้รับเกียรติจากนายกอบศักดิ์ ภูตระกูล รัฐมนตรีประจำสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี เป็นประธานเปิดงานฯ และกล่าวปาฐกถาพิเศษแก่ผู้เข้าร่วมงานฯ ซึ่งประกอบด้วยผู้แทนจากภาครัฐ-เอกชนไทยและคณะนักธุรกิจจากตุรกี จำนวนประมาณ 120 คน นอกจากนี้ ยังได้มีพิธีลงนามแผนปฏิบัติการร่วม สสว. กับองค์การพัฒนาวิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อมของตุรกี (Small and Medium Industry Development Organization – KOSGEB) เพื่อส่งเสริมให้เกิด
การถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยีและการแลกเปลี่ยนช่องทางการตลาดในสินค้าและบริการของธุรกิจ SMEs ทั้งสองฝ่าย

         (2)  การจัดงานแสดงสินค้า Thai-Turkish SMEs Trade Fair & Festival ระหว่างวันที่ 6-9 กันยายน 2561 ณ ศูนย์ประชุมแห่งชาติสิริกิติ์ ซึ่งมีผู้ประกอบการทั้งไทยและตุรกีเข้าร่วมออกร้านแสดงสินค้ากว่า 40 บริษัท โดยเป็นการขยายโอกาสทางการตลาดให้กับภาคเอกชนของทั้งสองประเทศได้ทำความรู้จักและสร้างเครือข่ายติดต่อทางธุรกิจระหว่างกัน

ทั้งนี้ กิจกรรมดังกล่าวเป็นหนึ่งในหลากหลายกิจกรรมที่กระทรวงการต่างประเทศร่วมกับหน่วยงานพันธมิตรภาครัฐและเอกชน จัดขึ้นเนื่องในโอกาสครบ 60 ปี การสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย-ตุรกีในปี 2561

          During 6-9 September 2018, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP) and the Thailand-Turkey Business Council (TTBC) organized business activities to promote trade and investment between Thailand and Turkey.  List of activities as followed:

          (1)                The 3^rd Thai-Turkish SMEs B2B Meeting, Seminar on “Exploring Business Opportunities between Thailand and Turkey” were held at the Arnoma Grand Hotel Bangkok on 6 September 2018.  H.E.Mr. Kobsak Pootrakool, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's office, attended the opening ceremony and gave the keynote address to around 120 participants from both Thai and Turkish public and private sectors.  After the keynote address, OSMEP and KOSGEB signed a Joint Action Plan to promote transfer of technology and market access for goods and services of SMEs in another country. 

          (2)                Thai-Turkish SMEs Trade Fair & Festival was held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre during 6-9 September 2018.  More than 40 Thai and Turkish entrepreneurs participated in the Trade Fair to expand their market opportunities and create business networks.

          The abovementioned business activities are among series of activities that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted in cooperation with related authorities and private entities, in commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of Thailand-Turkey Diplomatic Relations in the year 2018.
