เมื่อวันที่ 17 กันยายน 2569 นางสาวสมฤดี พู่พรอเนก อธิบดีกรมยุโรป พบหารือกับนางดานีเอลา-บรึนดูชา เบอเซอวัน (H.E. Mrs. Daniela-Brînduşa Băzăvan) เอกอัครราชทูตโรมาเนียประจำประเทศไทย ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ไทย-โรมาเนียในด้านต่าง ๆ อาทิ การค้าและการลงทุน การท่องเที่ยว และการแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรม ตลอดจนการแสวงหาโอกาสความร่วมมือใหม่ทั้งในด้านความมั่นคงไซเบอร์และความร่วมมือทางการแพทย์ โดยฝ่ายไทยขอให้โรมาเนียสนับสนุนการเจรจาความตกลงการค้าเสรีไทย-สหภาพยุโรปด้วย

Director-General of the Department of European Affairs Meets with Romanian Ambassador

On 17 September 2026, Ms. Somrudee Poopornanake, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, met with H.E. Mrs. Daniela-Brînduşa Băzăvan, Ambassador of Romania to Thailand. Both sides discussed ways to promote Thai-Romanian relations in various areas, including trade and investment, tourism, and cultural exchange, as well as exploring new opportunities in cybersecurity and medical cooperation. The Thai side also sought Romania’s continued support for negotiations on the Thai-EU Free Trade Agreement.
