On 1 October 2026, Ms. Somruedee Poopornanek, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, received a courtesy call from Mrs. Nippita Pukdeetanakul, Honorary Consul of San Marino to Thailand, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The two sides exchanged views on ways to promote and further strengthen Thailand-San Marino relations, as well as on facilitating visa procedures, with a view to supporting travel between the two countries and deepening people-to-people ties.
