เมื่อวันที่ ๑๙ มกราคม ๒๕๖๙ นางสาวสมฤดี พู่พรอเนก รักษาการอธิบดีกรมยุโรป พบหารือกับนางลีรี เบอรีชา อุปทูตฯ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐคอซอวอประจำประเทศไทย 
ในโอกาสดังกล่าว ทั้งสองฝ่ายแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการเตรียมการจัดการประชุมหารือทวิภาคี (Bilateral Consultations) ไทย - คอซอวอ ครั้งที่ 1 ณ กรุงพริสตีนา ในปีนี้ เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการค้า การลงทุน และการท่องเที่ยว รวมถึงเสริมสร้างปฏิสัมพันธ์ในระดับประชาชนเพื่อส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ทวิภาคีให้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น

On 19 January 2026, Mrs. Somrudee Poopornanake, acting Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, had a discussion with Mrs. Lirija Berisha, Charge d'affaires a.i., Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo to Thailand.

On this occasion, both sides exchanged views in preparation for the inaugural round of Bilateral Consultations, scheduled to be held in Pristina this year, to explore opportunities to enhance cooperation in trade, investment, and tourism, as well as to promote closer people-to-people engagement, in order to further strengthen bilateral relations.
