เมื่อวันที่ 20 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 นางสาวมารินี สุวรรณโมลี รองอธิบดีกรมยุโรป ได้เข้าร่วมเป็นวิทยากรบรรยายในหัวข้อ “บทบาทและความท้าทายด้านความยั่งยืนของไทยในเวทีโลก: มุมมองเชิงยุทธศาสตร์จากกรมยุโรป” ในงาน “Mahidol Science Sustainability & Biodiversity Forum” ซึ่งเป็นเวทีวิชาการด้านความยั่งยืนและความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพ ที่จัดขึ้นโดยคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล โดยสาระสำคัญของการบรรยายครอบคลุมภาพรวมความยั่งยืนของไทย และมุมมองความยั่งยืนของยุโรปผ่านนโยบาย European Green Deal (EGD) ของ EU เพื่อบรรลุเป้าหมาย Climate  Neutral ภายในปี 2050 ตลอดจนความร่วมมือระหว่างไทยและ EU การเปลี่ยนผ่านพลังงานสะอาดและการปรับตัวภาคธุรกิจเพื่อความยั่งยืนทั้งในมิติเศรษฐกิจ สังคม สิ่งแวดล้อม และสิทธิมนุษยชน

          นอกจากนี้ ยังมีวิทยากรจากหลายหน่วยงาน เช่น มูลนิธิแม่ฟ้าหลวง Tilt Collective ตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศ และองค์กรอื่นๆ บรรยายเกี่ยวกับความยั่งยืนในด้านต่างๆ มีการเปิดพื้นที่แลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และผลงานวิจัยด้านความยั่งยืน ทิศทางเชิงนโยบาย และมีการจัดแสดงนิทรรศการผลงานวิจัยและนวัตกรรมที่จะช่วยขับเคลื่อนประเทศไทยสู่การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม พร้อมปลูกฝังความตระหนักรู้ด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมในระยะยาว

          On 20 February 2026, Ms. Marinee Suwanmoli, Deputy Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, presented a talk on “Thailand’s role and sustainability challenges on the Global Stage: A Strategic Perspective from the Department of the European Affairs” at “Mahidol Science Sustainability & Biodiversity Forum,” This session discussed Thailand’s overall sustainability landscape and examined the European Green Deal (EGD) to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. The session also highlighted the cooperation between Thailand and the EU, green transition initiatives, and business adaptation towards sustainability across economic, social, environmental, and human rights aspects.

          In addition, the forum featured speakers from various organizations, including the Mae Fah Luang Foundation, Tilt Collective, SET, and other organizations. Lectures on perspectives on sustainability, provided a platform for knowledge exchange, research, and policy direction. The event also showcased research and innovative projects designed to steer Thailand towards tangible sustainable development, while instilling long-term environmental awareness.
