การประชุม Political Consultation ไทย - ลัตเวีย ครั้งที่ ๒
เมื่อวันที่ ๗ กุมภาพันธ์ ๒๕๖๖ กรมยุโรป กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการประชุม Political Consultation ไทย - ลัตเวีย ครั้งที่ ๒ โดยมีนายอสิ ม้ามณี อธิบดีกรมยุโรป และนาย Nils Jansons อธิบดีกรมความสัมพันธ์ทวิภาคี กระทรวงการต่างประเทศลัตเวีย เป็นประธานร่วมในการประชุม โดยในโอกาสดังกล่าว ทั้งสองฝ่ายยินดีที่ไทยกับลัตเวียได้เฉลิมฉลองโอกาสครบรอบ ๓๐ ปี การสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างกันเมื่อปี ๒๕๖๕ และได้หารือเกี่ยวกับแนวทางพัฒนาความร่วมมือทวิภาคีระหว่างสองประเทศในมิติต่าง ๆ อาทิ การค้า การศึกษา วัฒนธรรม เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล และการท่องเที่ยว รวมถึงได้แลกเปลี่ยนทัศนะเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ระหว่างประเทศที่อยู่ในความสนใจร่วมกัน ในโอกาสเยือนไทยในครั้งนี้ นาย Nils Jansons อธิบดีกรมความสัมพันธ์ทวิภาคี กระทรวงการต่างประเทศลัตเวียได้ให้สัมภาษณ์เกี่ยวกับผลลัพธ์ของการประชุม ความสัมพันธ์ไทย - ลัตเวีย และแนวทางการพัฒนาความร่วมมือ โดยเฉพาะในสาขาการศึกษา ออกอากาศทาง FM 88 Radio Thailand English "MFA Update" เมื่อวันที่ ๑๐ กุมภาพันธ์ ๒๕๖๖ (สามารถรับฟังได้ที่ https://fb.watch/iBli_2gS9M/)

the 2nd Thai-Latvian Political Consultation
On 7 February 2023, the Department of European Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, hosted the 3rd Thai-Latvian Political Consultation, co-chaired by Mr. Asi Mamanee, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, and Mr. Nils Jansons, Director-General for Bilateral Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia. Both sides were pleased to have commemorated the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Latvia in 2022 and discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in multi-faceted areas, including trade, higher education, culture, digital technology, and tourism, as well as exchanged views on current international issues of common interest.
During this visit to Thailand, Director-General Nils Jansons gave a radio interview on the outcomes of the meeting, Thai-Latvian relations, and ways to enhance cooperation, especially in higher education, on FM 88 Radio Thailand English "MFA Update", aired on 10 February 2023.
