เมื่อวันที่ 15 - 17 กันยายน 2568 กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ และ KX Knowledge Xchange ได้ร่วมเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานสัมมนา Green TechBite towards EU Market เพื่อเสริมสร้างองค์ความรู้เกี่ยวกับเศรษฐกิจสีเขียวในภูมิภาคยุโรปให้แก่บริษัท startup ไทย รวมถึงส่งเสริมความร่วมมือและสร้างเครือข่ายระหว่างประเทศไทยกับภูมิภาคยุโรปในด้านเศรษฐกิจสีเขียว เพื่อให้ภาคเอกชนไทยสามารถพัฒนาได้อย่างยั่งยืน มีมาตรฐาน และสามารถเจาะตลาดในภูมิภาคยุโรปได้ โดยนางศิริลักษณ์ นิยม รองปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้กล่าวเปิดงาน โดยเน้นย้ำว่า ประเทศไทยให้ความสำคัญกับการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนและเศรษฐกิจสีเขียวมาโดยตลอด ตามที่ประเทศไทยได้ประกาศเป้าหมายการเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอน (carbon neutrality) ภายในปี ค.ศ. ๒๐๕๐ และการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกสุทธิให้เป็นศูนย์ (net-zero) ภายในปี ค.ศ. ๒๐๖๕ โดยบริษัท startup มีบทบาทสำคัญในการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยีสีเขียว งานสัมมนาในครั้งนี้จึงเป็นโอกาสอันดีสำหรับบริษัท startup ไทย ในการเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับแนวคิดเศรษฐกิจสีเขียว และพัฒนาขีดความสามารถเพื่อให้สามารถแข่งขันในตลาดของภูมิภาคยุโรปได้

          งานสัมมนาประกอบด้วยกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ได้แก่ (1) การบรรยายโดยวิทยากรทั้งจากฝ่ายไทยและต่างประเทศ ในหัวข้อ “Green Economy Opportunities in Germany and the EU” และ “Thai Company Success Story in the EU” (2) การเสวนากลุ่มเกี่ยวกับความร่วมมือด้านเศรษฐกิจ BCG ระหว่างประเทศไทยกับสหภาพยุโรป (3) Workshop การเจาะตลาดยุโรปสำหรับผู้ประกอบการไทย (4) การสร้างเครือข่ายระหว่างผู้ประกอบการ (networking) และ (5) การเยี่ยมชมศูนย์ความเป็นเลิศเฉพาะทางด้านการจัดการและใช้ประโยชน์จากของเสีย (ECoWaste) และศูนย์พัฒนามาตรฐานและทดสอบระบบเซลล์แสงอาทิตย์ (CSSC) ณ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี วิทยาลัยเขตบางขุนเทียน

          ทั้งนี้ มีผู้เข้าร่วมงานสัมมนาประมาณ 70 คน ส่วนใหญ่เป็นบริษัท startup ไทย นอกจากนี้ ยังมีเจ้าหน้าที่ภาครัฐ นักลงทุนทั้งชาวไทยและต่างประเทศ รวมถึงผู้แทนสถานเอกอัครราชทูตต่างประเทศในประเทศไทยเข้าร่วมด้วย

          On 15-17 September 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and KX Knowledge Xchange co-hosted “Green TechBite towards EU Market” seminar, in order to enhance the knowledge of green economy in Europe for Thai startups. The seminar also aimed to strengthen cooperation and network between Thailand and Europe on green economy, in order to achieve sustainable development, high standards, and European market entry for Thai private sector.

          H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, gave an opening remarks, emphasising that Thailand has always given importance to sustainable development and green economy. Thailand are committed to driving our climate action goals for carbon neutrality by 2050 and net zero by 2065. Startups also play a key role in creating green innovation and technology. Therefore, this event was a great opportunity for Thai startups to gain knowledge about green economy and to build capacity to be able to compete in the European market.

          The event consisted of various activities including (1) keynote speeched on “Green Economy Opportunities in Germany and the EU” and “Thai Company Success Story in the EU” by both Thai and European speakers, (2) panel discussion on BCG economy between Thailand and the European Union, (3) workshop on expanding business to the European market for Thai entrepreneurs, (4) networking between Thai and European entrepreneurs, and (5) site visit at the Excellent Center of Waste Utilization and Management (ECoWaste) and CES Solar Cells Testing Center (CSSC) at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi Bangkhuntien Campus.

          The event was attended by approximately 70 participants, most of which were Thai startups, but also included officials from the public sector, both Thai and foreign investors, as well as representatives from foreign embassies in Thailand.
