เมื่อวันที่ 9 พฤศจิกายน 2568 นางสาวสมฤดี พู่พรอเนก รองอธิบดีกรมยุโรป ได้เข้าร่วมพิธีรำลึกทหารผ่านศึกและผู้เสียชีวิตในสงคราม (Remembrance Day Service) ซึ่งจัดโดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูตสหราชอาณาจักรประจำประเทศไทย ณ สโมสร British Club กรุงเทพฯ โดยในโอกาสดังกล่าว รองอธิบดีสมฤดีฯ ได้วางพวงมาลาในนามกระทรวงการต่างประเทศเพื่อร่วมรำลึกและไว้อาลัยต่อเหล่าทหารกล้าและพลเรือนที่สละชีวิตเพื่อธำรงไว้ซึ่งสันติภาพและเสรีภาพ ร่วมกับเอกอัครราชทูตและผู้แทนจากหน่วยงานทางการทูต และผู้ช่วยทูตฝ่ายทหารต่างประเทศประจำประเทศไทย รวมถึงผู้บริหารระดับสูงจากกระทรวงกลาโหมและเหล่าทัพด้วย

On 9 November 2025, Ms. Somrudee Poopornanake, Deputy Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, attended the Remembrance Day Service organized by    the British Embassy in Bangkok at the British Club, Bangkok.

On this occasion, Deputy Director-General Somrudee laid a wreath on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand to commemorate and pay tribute to the brave soldiers and civilians who sacrificed their lives in defense of peace and freedom. The ceremony was also attended by Ambassadors and representatives from diplomatic corps, defense attachés, as well as senior officials from the Ministry of Defence and the Royal Thai Armed Forces.
