รองอธิบดีกรมยุโรปพบหารือคณะผู้แทนคณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์
วิทยาเขตปัตตานี วันที่ 14 พฤษภาคม 2567 ณ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ

          เมื่อวันที่ ๑๔ พฤษภาคม ๒๕๖๗ นางสาวสมฤดี พู่พรอเนก รองอธิบดีกรมยุโรป ให้การต้อนรับและพบหารือคณะผู้แทนคณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตปัตตานี นำโดยผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. ยาสมิน ฃัตตาร์ รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิชาการ โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือเกี่ยวกับการดำเนินภารกิจของศูนย์ศึกษาตุรกี และโอกาสความร่วมมือกับกรมยุโรป ตลอดจนการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างประเทศไทยกับสาธารณรัฐตุรกี

          ทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นพ้องว่า การมีส่วนร่วมมากขึ้นของภาคส่วนต่าง ๆ ทั้งภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนของไทยและตุรกีจะช่วยขับเคลื่อนการดำเนินภารกิจของศูนย์ศึกษาตุรกี อาทิ การเพิ่มพูนทักษะภาษาตุรกีและภาษาต่างประเทศแก่เยาวชนไทย การสนับสนุนการศึกษาของนักเรียนและนักศึกษาไทยที่ประสงค์ไปศึกษาต่อในสาธารณรัฐตุรกีและโอกาสในการเข้าสู่ตลาดแรงงานภายหลังสำเร็จการศึกษา รวมทั้งความร่วมมือระหว่างสองประเทศในด้านศิลปะและวัฒนธรรม ตลอดจนปฏิสัมพันธ์ระดับประชาชน ทั้งนี้ กรมยุโรปมีความยินดีที่จะทำงานร่วมกับศูนย์ศึกษาตุรกีและภาคส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้องเพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือและความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างไทยกับตุรกีต่อไป

Deputy Director-General of the Department of European Affairs met with the delegation from the Faculty of Political Science, Prince of Songkla University Pattani Campus, On 14 May 2024, at Ministry of Foreign Affairs

            On 14 May 2024, Ms. Somrudee Poopornanake, Deputy Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, welcomed and had a meeting with the delegation from the Faculty of Political Science, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus, led by Associate Professor Dr. Yasmin Sattar, Deputy Dean of the Faculty. Both sides discussed the mission of the Turkish Studies Center and opportunities for collaboration with the Department of European Affairs as well as the promotion of cordial relations between Thailand and Türkiye.

            Both sides concurred that the increased engagement with the public and private sectors of both Thailand and Türkiye would help achieve the mission of the Turkish Studies Center in various areas such as enhancing Turkish and foreign language competency for Thai youths, supporting Thai students’ education in Türkiye and their career opportunities in the labour market, as well as cooperation between the two countries in arts, culture and on the people-to-people level. The Department of European Affairs is pleased to work with the Turkish Studies Center and other sectors to further promote cooperation and relations between Thailand and Türkiye.
