เมื่อวันที่ ๑๑ ตุลาคม ๒๕๖๖ นายอสิ ม้ามณี อธิบดีกรมยุโรป ได้พบหารือกับนางอูลล์เพียจ์นา ลามา (Ulpiana Lama) อุปทูตรักษาราชการแทนเอกอัครราชทูต สถานเอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐคอซอวอประจำประเทศไทย โดยในโอกาสนี้ทั้งสองฝ่ายแสดงความยินดีต่อการครบรอบ ๑๐ ปี การสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างประเทศไทยกับสาธารณรัฐคอซอวอในปี๒๕๖๖ และการดำเนินความสัมพันธ์ที่ราบรื่นและมีพัฒนาการต่อเนื่องตลอดระยะเวลาหนึ่งทศวรรษที่ผ่านมา                                    รวมทั้งได้หารือการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทวิภาคีในด้านการเมือง การค้า การลงทุน วัฒนธรรม การท่องเที่ยวและความเชื่อมโยงในระดับประชาชน

             ในโอกาสเดียวกันนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้ร่วมลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจว่าด้วยการหารือทวิภาคีระหว่างกระทรวงการต่างประเทศแห่งราชอาณาจักรไทยกับกระทรวงการต่างประเทศและกิจการโพ้นทะเลสาธารณรัฐคอซอวอ ซึ่งเป็นกลไกความร่วมมือและการหารือทวิภาคีที่เป็นรูปธรรมกลไกแรกระหว่างกระทรวงการต่างประเทศของทั้งสองประเทศ อันจะมีส่วนช่วยเพิ่มพูนพลวัตความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศไทยกับสาธารณรัฐคอซอวอให้มากยิ่งขึ้นต่อไป

Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Bilateral Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo

            On 11 October 2023, Mr. Asi Mamanee, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, had a bilateral meeting with Mrs. Ulpiana Lama, Minister Counsellor and Charge d'Affaires ai., Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Thailand. Both sides expressed congratulations for the 10* Anniversary of the establishment of Thailand-Kosovo's diplomatic relations in 2023 as well as the cordial and dynamic relations between the two countries during the past decade. Furthermore, both sides discussed the promotion of bilateral cooperation in the areas of politics, trade, investment, culture and tourism as well as people-to-people connections.

            On this occasion, both sides also signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the Bilateral Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo. The MoU will establish the first platform for bilateral cooperation and consultations between the two Ministries, which would help enhance the overall dynamism in the relations between Thailand and Kosovo into the future.
