ปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศประชุมกับ Head of the Service for Policy Instruments (FPI) จากคณะกรรมาธิการยุโรป เพื่อหารือความร่วมมือด้านความมั่นคง

เมื่อวันที่ 20 ตุลาคม 2568 นางเอกสิริ ปิณฑะรุจิ ปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้พบหารือกับนาย Peter Wagner ตำแหน่ง Head of the Service for Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI) คณะกรรมาธิการยุโรป ณ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ โดยมี พล.อ. รังพิรัชต์ แย้มเกษร ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์ปฏิบัติการทุ่นระเบิดแห่งชาติ ศูนย์บัญชาการทางทหารเข้าร่วมด้วย

ทั้งสองฝ่ายยินดีต่อพัฒนาการความร่วมมือไทย-สหภาพยุโรปด้านความมั่นคง ซึ่งสหภาพยุโรปแสดงความสนใจในการช่วยส่งเสริมความมั่นคงในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ โดยฝ่ายไทยได้แจ้งพัฒนาการสถานการณ์ชายแดนไทย - กัมพูชา พร้อมทั้งชื่นชมสหภาพยุโรปที่ได้มอบความช่วยเหลือด้านมนุษยธรรมฉุกเฉินแก่พลเรือนที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากสถานการณ์ความขัดแย้งบริเวณชายแดน
ในช่วงที่ผ่านมาด้วย ซึ่งสหภาพยุโรปแสดงความพร้อมที่จะสนับสนุนความช่วยเหลือประเด็นที่เกี่ยวข้องกับด้านมนุษยธรรมเพิ่มเติม

ทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นพ้องที่จะสานต่อและเพิ่มพูนความร่วมมือด้านความมั่นคงที่กำลังมีพลวัตอย่างมากผ่านกรอบความร่วมมือต่าง ๆ อาทิ โครงการ ESIWA+ ด้านการเสริมสร้างความมั่นคงทางไซเบอร์และดิจิทัล โครงการ CRIMARIO II ด้านการสร้างความตระหนักรู้เกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ความมั่นคงทางทะเล และโครงการ EU CBRN CoE ด้านการลดความเสี่ยงจากภัยอันตรายทางเคมี ชีวภาพ รังสี และนิวเคลียร์

นอกจากนี้ ที่ประชุมได้แลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองต่อประเด็นความมั่นคงในภูมิภาคและระหว่างประเทศ รวมถึงสถานการณ์ความมั่นคงในยุโรปและความมั่นคงทางทะเล และสองฝ่ายย้ำถึงความจำเป็นในการแก้ไขปัญหาอาชญากรรมข้ามชาติร่วมกันอย่างเร่งด่วน โดยเฉพาะการหลอกลวงทางออนไลน์ ซึ่งสร้างความเสียหายต่อความมั่นคงทางเศรษฐกิจและมนุษย์ไปทั่วโลกในขณะนี้

Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Director of Thailand Mine Action Center (TMAC), and the European Commission’s Foreign Policy Instruments Service (FPI) discuss security cooperation

On 20 October 2025, Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand, together with General Rangpiracht Yaemkaesorn, Director General of the Thailand Mine Action Center (TMAC), met with Mr. Peter Wagner, Head of the Service for Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI) of the European Commission, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Both sides were satisfied with the progress made in the Thailand-EU security cooperation, with the EU’s side expressing interest to help promote the Southeast Asia’s regional security. The Thai side provided an update on the developments of the situation along the Thai-Cambodia border and commended the EU’s role in providing emergency humanitarian aid directed to the civilians affected by the border conflict. The EU representatives also expressed readiness to continue their support on the issues related to humanitarian cause.

Both sides also agreed to step up the dynamic security cooperation through various frameworks, including projects under the ESIWA+ on safeguarding cyberspace, CRIMARIO II on Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) and EU CBRN CoE on chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear risk mitigation.

In addition, both sides also exchanged views on regional and international security issues, including security situation in Europe and maritime security. Both sides stressed the urgent need for joint efforts to address transnational crimes, especially online scams, which have caused severe impacts on the economy and human security worldwide.
