เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐเบลารุสประจำประเทศไทย เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะอธิบดีกรมยุโรป

             เมื่อวันที่ ๓ เมษายน ๒๕๖๗ นายวลาดีมีร์ บาราวีคอฟ (H.E. Mr. Uladzimir Baravikou) เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐเบลารุสประจำประเทศไทย ถิ่นพำนัก ณ กรุงฮานอย ได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะและแสดงความยินดีกับนางครองขนิษฐ รักษ์เจริญ อธิบดีกรมยุโรป ในโอกาสเข้ารับหน้าที่ โดยมีนางสาวกรนันท์ สุคนธ์ฤทธิกร กงสุลกิตติมศักดิ์เบลารุสประจำประเทศไทยเข้าร่วมด้วย

            ในโอกาสนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือแนวทางการส่งเสริมและต่อยอดความร่วมมือทวิภาคีที่เป็นผลประโยชน์ร่วมกันในหลากหลายมิติ อาทิ การค้าและการลงทุน การท่องเที่ยว และความร่วมมือในองค์การระหว่างประเทศ ซึ่งเบลารุสในฐานะประเทศสมาชิกสหภาพเศรษฐกิจยูเรเชีย (Eurasian Economic Union – EAEU) ถือเป็นตลาดใหม่ที่มีศักยภาพของประเทศไทย โดยฝ่ายไทยได้ยืนยันความพร้อมในการเริ่มกระบวนการเจรจาจัดทำความตกลงการค้าเสรีกับสหภาพเศรษฐกิจยูเรเซีย และขอรับการสนับสนุนจากเบลารุสด้วย ทั้งสองฝ่ายยังได้หารือเกี่ยวกับการจัดการประชุมหารือ Political Consultations ครั้งที่ ๑ เพื่อกระชับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างกันอีกด้วย

           ไทยและเบลารุสสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างกัน เมื่อวันที่ ๒๑ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๓๕โดยจะครบรอบความสัมพันธ์ ๓๒ ปี ในปี ๒๕๖๗

Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Thailand paid a courtesy call

on Director-General of the Department of European Affairs

            On 3 April 2024, H.E. Mr. Uladzimir Baravikou, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Thailand with residence in Hanoi, paid a courtesy call on Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, on the occasion of the latter’s assumption of duty.
Ms. Koranun Sukonritikorn, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus, also attended the meeting.

            On this occasion, both sides discussed ways to enhance and build on bilateral cooperation in diverse areas of mutual interest such as trade and investment, tourism and cooperation in international fora. The Thai side expressed its readiness to begin negotiations on the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and wished to seek Belarus’s support on this matter.
In addition, they discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation by holding the first political consultations.

            Thailand and Belarus established diplomatic relations on 21 July 1992 and this year marks
the 32^nd anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Belarus.
