เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐเบลารุสประจำประเทศไทย เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะอธิบดีกรมยุโรป

          เมื่อวันที่ 10 กุมภาพันธ์ ๒๕๖๖ นายวลาดีมีร์ บาราวีคอฟ (H.E. Mr. Uladzimir Baravikou) เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐเบลารุสประจำประเทศไทย ถิ่นพำนัก
ณ กรุงฮานอย ได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะนายอสิ ม้ามณี อธิบดีกรมยุโรป ในโอกาสเข้ารับหน้าที่ โดยมีนางสาวกรนันท์ สุคนธ์ฤทธิกร กงสุลกิตติมศักดิ์สาธารณรัฐเบลารุสประจำประเทศไทยเข้าร่วมด้วย

          โอกาสนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือแนวทางการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทวิภาคีที่เป็นผลประโยชน์ร่วมกัน อาทิ การท่องเที่ยว โอกาสการค้าและการลงทุน และความร่วมมือ
ในองค์การระหว่างประเทศ ทั้งนี้ ฝ่ายไทยได้ยืนยันความพร้อมในการเริ่มกระบวนการเจรจาจัดทำความตกลงการค้าเสรีกับสหภาพเศรษฐกิจยูเรเซีย และขอรับการสนับสนุนจากเบลารุสซึ่งเป็นสมาชิก

          ทั้งนี้ ไทยและเบลารุสสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างกัน เมื่อวันที่ ๒๑ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๓๕ โดยครบรอบ ๓๐ ปี การสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์เมื่อปี ๒๕๖๕

Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Thailand paid a courtesy call

on Director-General of the Department of European Affairs

          On 10 February 2023 H.E. Mr. Uladzimir Baravikou, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Thailand with residence in Hanoi, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Asi Mamanee, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, on the occasion of the latter’s assumption of duty. Ms. Koranun Sukonritikorn, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus, also attended the meeting.

          On this occasion, both sides discussed ways to promote bilateral cooperation in various areas of mutual interest such as tourism, trade and investment opportunities as well as cooperation in international fora. The Thai side expressed its readiness to start negotiations on the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and wished to seek Belarus’s support on this matter.

          Thailand and Belarus established their diplomatic relations on 21 July 1992. Both sides commemorated the 30^th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations last year.
