การต่างประเทศฮังการีซึ่งรับผิดชอบด้านความสัมพันธ์กับประเทศในภูมิภาคใต้ ในช่วงต้นเดือนธันวาคม 2569 รวมทั้งการเตรียมการจัดการประชุม Political Consulations (PC) และการประชุม

ซึ่งจัดพิมพ์เนื่องในโอกาสครบรอบ 155 ปี การสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างสยามและจักรวรรดิออสเตรียฮังการี ให้แก่อธิบดีกรมยุโรป

Director-General of the Department of European Affairs Meets with the Hungarian Ambassador to Advance Thailand–Hungary Relations and Promote Exchanges of Visits.

On 27 October 2026, Ms. Somrudee Poopornanake, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs met with H.E. Ms. Szilvia Szaloki, Ambassador of Hungary to Thailand at the Department of European Affairs. Both sides exchanged views on ways to further strengthen Thailand-Hungary bilateral relations, deepen sectoral cooperation, and advance key priorities of mutual interest. They also discussed preparations for the visit of Hungarian Deputy Secretary of State for Relations with Global South in December 2026, as well as for the 5th Political Consultations (PC) and the 5th Joint Commision on Economic Cooperation (JCEC) in 2027.

On this occasion, the Ambassador of Hungary presented the Director-General with a book entitled A Moment in Time: The Journey From Austria-Hungary to Siam Through The Lens of Wilhelm Burger published to commemorate the 155 Years of Formal Relations between Siam and Austria-Hungary.
