อธิบดีกรมยุโรปพบผู้บริหารกระทรวงการต่างประเทศกรีซและหน่วยงานด้านการท่องเที่ยว

       เมื่อวันที่ ๒๐ กันยายน ๒๕๖๖ นายอสิ ม้ามณี อธิบดีกรมยุโรป และนายสธน เกษมสันต์ ณ อยุธยา เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเอเธนส์ ได้พบหารือกับนาย Theodoros Michalopoulos อธิบดีกรมเอเชียและโอเชียเนีย ที่กระทรวงการต่างประเทศกรีซ เพื่อหารือถึงแนวทางการกระชับความสัมพันธ์และเพิ่มพูนความร่วมมือทวิภาคี ซึ่งในปี ๒๕๖๖ ครบรอบ ๖๕ ปีของการสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างประเทศไทยกับกรีซ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือในประเด็นด้านการท่องเที่ยว การลงทุน การยกเว้นการตรวจลงตราสำหรับหนังสือเดินทางราชการและธรรมดา และได้เชิญอธิบดีกรมเอเชียและโอเชียเนีย กระทรวงการต่างประเทศกรีซเยือนไทยเพื่อลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจว่าด้วยการจัดตั้งกลไกการหารือทวิภาคีระหว่างกระทรวงการต่างประเทศแห่งราชอาณาจักรไทยกับกระทรวงการต่างประเทศแห่งสาธารณรัฐเฮลเลนิกในปี ๒๕๖๗ รวมทั้งการจัดการประชุมหารือทวิภาคีไทย-กรีซ ครั้งที่ ๑ ณ กรุงเทพฯ

       อธิบดีกรมยุโรปยังได้พบหารือกับนาย Nicolas Girilidis ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันด้านการทูต กระทรวงการต่างประเทศกรีซ เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันการต่างประเทศเทวะวงศ์วโรปการกับสถาบันการทูตของกรีซ รวมถึงการแลกเปลี่ยนบุคลากรและการจัดหลักสูตรอบรมนักการทูต

       นอกจากนี้ อธิบดีกรมยุโรปและเอกอัครราชทูตฯ พร้อมคณะ ได้พบหารือกับนาง Angela Gerekous ประธานกรรมการสำนักงานการท่องเที่ยวแห่งสาธารณรัฐเฮลเลนิก และนาย Myron Flouris เลขาธิการด้านนโยบายและการพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยว กระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวกรีซ เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนแนวปฏิบัติที่เป็นเลิศด้านการท่องเที่ยวและวัฒนธรรม การผลักดันความตกลงระหว่างกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวไปสู่แผนปฏิบัติการอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม (Action Plan) และการบริหารจัดการพิพิธภัณฑ์

       ในโอกาสการเยือนกรีซครั้งนี้ อธิบดีกรมยุโรปได้ร่วมประชุมกับเอกอัครราชทูตในภูมิภาคยุโรปใต้ เมื่อวันที่ ๒๑ กันยายน ๒๕๖๖ ได้แก่ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงโรม เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงมาดริด เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงลิสบอน และเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเอเธนส์ โดยได้ร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับแนวปฏิบัติที่เป็นเลิศเกี่ยวกับการท่องเที่ยวอย่างยั่งยืนและการใช้พลังงานแสงอาทิตย์และพลังงานหมุนเวียนของประเทศในเขตอาณา เพื่อนำมาปรับใช้กับประเทศไทยตามนโยบายของรัฐบาล

Director-General of the Department of Europe Affairs met
his counterparts at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic and Tourism Authority of the Hellenic Republic

       On 20 September 2023, Mr. Asi Mamanee, Director-General of the Department of Europe Affairs, and Mr. Sathana Kashemsanta Na Ayudhya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic, held a meeting with Mr. Theodoros Michalopoulos, Director for Asia and Oceania at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic and discussed ways to further strengthen Thailand - Greece bilateral cooperation. This year marks the 65^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between two countries. Both sides discussed ways to enhance tourism cooperation, investment, visa exemption for holders of official and ordinary passports, and also invited the Director for Asia and Oceania to visit Thailand and sign the Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of Bilateral Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic in 2024 as well as to hold the 1^st Bilateral Consultations between Thailand and Greece in Bangkok.

       Director-General also met with Mr. Nicolas Girilidis, Director of Diplomatic Academy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic and exchanged opinions on cooperation between Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA) and the Diplomatic Academy of the Hellenic Republic, including the exchange of personnel and training courses for diplomats.

       In addition, Director-General and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Hellenic Republic met with Ms. Angela Gerekous, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Greek National Tourism Organisation and Mr. Myron Flouris, Secretary General for Tourism Policy and Development, Ministry of Tourism of the Hellenic Republic, to exchange best practices on tourism management, cultural and museum cooperation, as well as discussed on the Action Plan between the two ministries of tourism.

       During this trip, Director-General also held a meeting with Thai Ambassadors in Southern Europe region on 21 September 2023 namely Ambassadors in Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece. They exchanged views on best practices of sustainable tourism and solar and renewable energy in order to apply to Thailand according to the Thai Government's policy.
