เมื่อวันที่ 25 ก.พ. 69 นางสมฤดี พู่พรอเนก รองอธิบดีกรมยุโรป รักษาราชการอธิบดีกรมยุโรป หารือกับนาย Wolfgang Gründler อัยการสูงสุดเขตบัมแบร์ก สหพันธ์สาธารณรัฐเยอรมนีและคณะ
ซึ่งเดินทางมาเยือนประเทศไทยเพื่อขยายความร่วมมือกับหน่วยงานไทยด้านการต่อต้านอาชญากรรมไซเบอร์

ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์การหลอกลวงออนไลน์ซึ่งกำลังกลายเป็นปัญหาที่ยุโรปเผชิญอย่างรุนแรงมากขึ้นและประสงค์ที่จะร่วมมือกับฝ่ายไทยเพื่อแก้ปัญหาดังกล่าว
ในโอกาสนี้ รักษาการอธิบดีกรมยุโรปได้เชิญหน่วยงานเยอรมนีเข้าร่วมการประชุมที่ฝ่ายไทยจะร่วมกับพันธมิตรในยุโรปจัดขึ้นเพื่อขับเคลื่อนความร่วมมือด้านการต่อต้านการหลอกลวงออนไลน์
ในช่วงเดือนเมษายนและพฤษภาคม 2569 ด้วย

Acting Director-General for Department of European Affairs meets with General Public Presecutor, Bamberg, Federal Republic of Germany to promote cooperation
in combatting online scams

On 25 February 2026 Ms. Somrudee Poopornanake, Acting Director-General for Department of European Affairs met with Mr. Wolfgan Gründler, General Public Prosecutor, Bamberg, Federal Republic of Germany and the delegation on the occassion of visiting Thailand to expand cooperation with Thai agencies in countering cybercrimes.

Both sides exchanged views on the rise of cyber-enabled fraud, which is becoming increasingly severe across Europe, and agreed that strengthened international cooperation is essential to effectively address the issue. On this occasion, the Acting Director-General invited the Office of the Public Prosecutre General to attend the conferences that Thailand will co-host with European partners to advance cooperation in countering online scams in April and May 2026 in Thailand.
