เมื่อวันที่ 6 พฤศจิกายน 2568 นางสาวสมฤดี พู่พรอเนก รองอธิบดีกรมยุโรปในฐานะรักษาการอธิบดีกรมยุโรป ได้พบหารือกับนาย Dumitru Braghis เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐมอลโดวาประจำสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ในโอกาสเดินทางเยือนประเทศไทย

ทั้งสองฝ่ายแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศไทยกับสาธารณรัฐมอลโดวาในหลายสาขา อาทิ การอำนวยความสะดวกด้านการค้าและการลงทุน รวมถึงการจัดทำความตกลงยกเว้นการตรวจลงตราสำหรับผู้ถือหนังสือเดินทางทูตและราชการ และผู้ถือหนังสือเดินทางธรรมดา ตลอดจนหารือถึงความเป็นไปได้ในการแต่งตั้งกงสุลกิตติมศักดิ์ไทยประจำสาธารณรัฐมอลโดวา เพื่อส่งเสริมการติดต่อระหว่างกันให้ใกล้ชิดยิ่งขึ้น

ทั้งสองฝ่ายยืนยันความมุ่งมั่นที่จะร่วมกันผลักดันความสัมพันธ์ให้แน่นแฟ้น และขยายความร่วมมือในสาขาต่าง ๆ ให้ก้าวหน้ามากยิ่งขึ้นในอนาคต

The Deputy Director-General of the Department of European Affairs met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the People's Republic of China.

On 6 November 2025, Ms. Somrudee Poopornanake, Deputy Director-General and Acting Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, met with Mr. Dumitru Braghis, Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the People's Republic of China, on the occasion of the latter’s visit to Thailand.

Both sides exchanged views on ways to further strengthen relations between Thailand and the Republic of Moldova, focusing on areas such as trade and investment facilitation,as well as the possibility of concluding an agreement on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and official passports as well as ordinary passports. They also discussed the potential appointment of an Honorary Consul of Thailand in the Republic of Moldova to promote closer contact between the two countries.

Both sides also reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing and deepening bilateral relations, as well as to expanding cooperation in diverse fields in the future.
