เมื่อวันที่ 2 เมษายน 2569 นางสาวสมฤดี พู่พรอเนก รองอธิบดีกรมยุโรป พบหารือกับนายเยฟเกนี โตมีฮิน เอกอัครราชทูตสหพันธรัฐรัสเซียประจำประเทศไทย เพื่อร่วมกันส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างทั้งสองประเทศ โดยเฉพาะประเด็นทวิภาคี โอกาสความร่วมมือระหว่างไทย-รัสเซีย ในด้านต่าง ๆ และโอกาสในการแลกเปลี่ยนการเยือนระดับสูง นอกจากนี้ ยังได้หารือเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ในภูมิภาคต่าง ๆ รวมถึงพัฒนาการสถานการณ์ในตะวันออกกลางอีกด้วย

Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs meets with the Ambassador of Russia to Thailand

On 2 April 2026, Ms. Somrudee Poopornanake, Deputy Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, held discussions with H.E. Mr. Evgeny Tomikhin, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Thailand, on bilateral issues with a view to strengthening relations and cooperation between the two countries.
The discussions focused on key areas of cooperation between Thailand and the Russian Federation across various fields, including opportunities to enhance exchanges of high-level visits. The two sides also exchanged views on regional developments, including the situation in the Middle East.
