มนตรีฝ่ายไทยประจำมูลนิธิเอเชีย-ยุโรปเข้าร่วมการประชุมคณะกรรมการบริหารของมูลนิธิฯ (Asia-Europe Foundation Executive Committee Meeting : ASEF ExCo) และสนับสนุนการจัดการประชุมหารือเรื่องอาชญากรรมออนไลน์

เมื่อวันที่ 27 พฤศจิกายน 2568 นางจุฬามณี ชาติสุวรรณ มนตรีฝ่ายไทยประจำมูลนิธิเอเชีย-ยุโรป (Asia-Europe Foundation: ASEF) ได้เข้าร่วมการประชุมคณะกรรมการบริหารของมูลนิธิฯ (ASEF ExCo) เพื่อร่วมหารือกำหนดทิศทางและนโยบายการบริหารจัดการมูลนิธิฯ ร่วมกับสมาชิกคณะกรรมการจากภูมิภาคเอเชียและยุโรป ได้แก่ จีน ญี่ปุ่น เกาหลีใต้ สิงคโปร์ อินโดนีเซีย สเปน ฝรั่งเศส โปแลนด์ ลักเซมเบิร์ก ไอร์แลนด์ และเนเธอร์แลนด์

ที่ประชุมได้หารือประเด็นสำคัญ ได้แก่ การกำหนดทิศทางโครงการที่มุ่งสนับสนุนเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน และการใช้ประโยชน์จากปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) การจัดทำแผนยุทธศาสตร์มูลนิธิฯ ฉบับใหม่ ค.ศ. 2027–2030 การเสริมสร้างความมั่นคงทางการเงินของ ASEF ตลอดจนข้อเสนอเชิงนโยบายเพื่อยกระดับบทบาทของมูลนิธิฯ ในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือที่ประเทศสมาชิกร่วมให้ความสำคัญ 

ในการนี้ มนตรีฝ่ายไทยแจ้งที่ประชุมถึงบทบาทเชิงรุกของไทยในการต่อต้านอาชญากรรมออนไลน์และการที่ไทยจะเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการประชุมระหว่างประเทศว่าด้วยหุ้นส่วนระดับโลกเพื่อต่อต้านอาชญากรรมหลอกลวงทางออนไลน์ในเดือนธันวาคม 2568  มนตรีฝ่ายไทยได้สนับสนุนให้ ASEF จัดการประชุมหารือเรื่องอาชญากรรมออนไลน์ ซึ่งเป็นภัยคุกคามต่อประชาชนทั่วโลก และยืนยันความพร้อมของไทยที่จะมีบทบาทแข็งขันในการประชุมดังกล่าว

ASEF เป็นองค์กรภายใต้กรอบการประชุมผู้นำเอเชีย-ยุโรป (Asia-Europe Meeting: ASEM) โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมความเข้าใจอันดีระหว่างภูมิภาคเอเชียกับยุโรปและสนับสนุนการทำงานของ ASEM ในมิติ Track II ผ่านการติดต่อแลกเปลี่ยนความร่วมมือใน 7 สาขาหลัก ได้แก่ (1) การศึกษา (2) วัฒนธรรม (3) สาธารณสุข (4) สื่อประชาสัมพันธ์ (5) เศรษฐกิจ (6) ธรรมาภิบาล และ (7) การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน

Thai Governor to the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) Participates in ASEF Executive Committee Meeting and Underscores Importance of Combating Online Crime

On 27 November 2025, Mrs. Chulamanee Chartsuwan, the Thai Governor to the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), participated in the ASEF Executive Committee (ExCo) Meeting to deliberate on the Foundation’s strategic direction and administrative policies. The meeting convened Executive Committee members from across Asia and Europe, including representatives from China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Spain, France, Poland, Luxembourg, Ireland, and the Netherlands.

The ExCo discussed several key issues, including the alignment of ASEF projects with priorities related to the green transition, sustainability, and Artificial Intelligence (AI); the development of ASEF’s new Strategic Plan for 2027–2030; the Foundation’s financial sustainability; and policy recommendations aimed at strengthening ASEF’s role in advancing priority areas of cooperation among member countries.

In this context, the Thai Governor briefed the meeting on Thailand’s proactive efforts to combat online crime, including the country’s role as host of the International Conference on Global Partnership against Online Scams in December 2025. She also encouraged ASEF to organise meetings dedicated to addressing online crime and reaffirmed Thailand’s readiness to contribute actively to this global endeavour.

ASEF is the only institution under the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) framework mandated to promote mutual understanding between Asia and Europe and to support ASEM’s Track II cooperation across seven key areas: (1) Education, (2) Culture, (3) Governance, (4) Public Health, (5) Media, (6) Economy, and (7) Sustainable Development.
