เมื่อวันที่ 3 กันยายน 2569 กรมยุโรป กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ นำโดยนางสาวสมฤดี พู่พรอเนก อธิบดีฯ ได้ต้อนรับคณะครูและนักเรียนจากโรงเรียนหาดใหญ่วิทยาลัย หลักสูตรโครงการภาคภาษาอังกฤษ ในโอกาสเข้าเยี่ยมชมและศึกษาดูงาน ณ กรมยุโรป เพื่อให้คณะครูและนักเรียน ได้เรียนรู้ถึงบทบาทและภารกิจของกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ตลอดจนบทบาทของกรมยุโรปในการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศและองค์กรต่าง ๆ ในภูมิภาคยุโรป

ในโอกาสนี้ นางนาฎนภางค์ ดำรงสุนทรชัย รองอธิบดีฯ ได้บรรยายสรุปเกี่ยวกับภารกิจของกรมยุโรป พร้อมทั้งนำคณะครูและนักเรียนพบปะและมีกิจกรรมร่วมกับเจ้าหน้าที่จากกองต่าง ๆ ภายในกรมยุโรป ซึ่งกิจกรรมเหล่านี้ไม่เพียงแต่เพิ่มพูนความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับประเทศยุโรปและสหภาพยุโรปแต่ยังเปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนได้รับทราบเกี่ยวกับการทำงานของนักการทูต และการขับเคลื่อนนโยบายทางการทูตเพื่อประชาชน ที่สามารถจับต้องได้ และไม่ใช่เรื่องที่ไกลตัวอีกต่อไป

Department of European Affairs welcomes students and teachers from Hatyai Wittayalai school, English programme, for an educational visit

On 3 September 2026, the Department of European Affairs (DEA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led by Ms. Somrudee Poopornanake, Director-General of DEA, welcomed a group of students and teachers from the English Programme of Hatyai Wittayalai School for an educational visit. The visit provided an opportunity for the students to learn about the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ role and mission, as well as the DEA’s responsibilities in promoting bilateral relations between Thailand and European countries and organisations.

On this occasion, Ms. Natnapang Damrongsoontornchai, Deputy Director-General of DEA, briefed the group on the Department’s key missions, and led the teachers and students in participating in interactive activities organised by the Department’s divisions. These activities not only enhanced the students’ knowledge on European countries, and the European Union, but also provided them the opportunity to learn more about the work of diplomats and how diplomatic policies are translated into tangible outcomes for the public.
